Last-minute change in Concert Program, Saturday, November 5th!

Due to an unexpected offer to stand in for the legendary Stevie Wonder, accompanying soul queen Chaka Khan for a series of concerts in Belgium and the Netherlands, Antonio Serrano will have to leave Trossingen on the afternoon of Saturday November 5th. This means he will be unable to perform at the Harmonica Masters Concert that evening. Antonio offers his sincere apologies and hopes that everyone will understand his decision. In order to give people a chance to hear him perform, we have arranged a short showcase appearance during the session after the concert on Friday night.
Antonio's friend and colleague, Brazilian harmonica maestro Alex Rossi, has kindly agreed to perform in his stead at the concert on Saturday. A pioneer of the South American blues circuit, Rossi has performed and recorded with numerous blues legends including Sam Myers, Magic Slim, Hubert Sumlin, Joshua Redman, Susan Tedeschi, Phil Guy, Jeff Healey and many more. Unusually, Alex is also an accomplished jazz chromatic player. He recently produced and performed on a CD tribute to the late, great Toots Thielemans with five other world class jazz chromatic harmonica artists including Gregoire Maret, Olivier Ker Ourio and Antonio Serrano. He can also be heard on the soundtrack to the recent award winning movie Nono The Zig Zag Kid, starring Isabella Rosellini and recently released a CD of compositions by Tom Jobim.
