Colorful, charismatic and passionately musical, Jason Ricci is one of the most dazzling figures in the world of contemporary harmonica. This will be his first appearance in Germany for many years and we can all look forward to a gripping show from a modern master, who has tamed his personal demons and risen to new heights as an artist. Jason will be accompanied by the LiveWires.
Equally dazzling, but operating in a very different area, Joe Filisko and Eric Noden need no introduction in Trossingen. Both number among the very finest proponents of traditional blues styles alive today. While acknowledging the blues tradition, their original songs are unmistakeably contemporary, and with their highly energetic yet polished performances, have allowed them to create a genre all of their own.
Following the Saturday night concerts, all instructors take to the stage together with the band for the Grande Finale, to finish the Harmonica Masters Workshops in style with a closing session.
