General terms and conditions
The General Terms and Conditions of Business (GTC) apply to all training, further training and education courses, as well as workshops and festivals of HOHNER Musikinstrumente GmbH Trossingen, hereinafter referred to as HOHNER. The General Terms and Conditions are accepted by HOHNER upon registration for an offer.
Registration and admission
Upon receipt of the registration, interested parties will receive an admission letter for participation in a training, further training or continuing education event or a written notification of the current status (e.g. waiting list, missing documents, cancellation, etc.). A registration for in-service training courses or in-service further training courses that extend over a longer period of time applies to all work phases of a further training course.
Change or cancellation before the start of a course
HOHNER reserves the right to cancel a course at short notice or to postpone its start if there is insufficient demand. The same applies to course cancellations due to the absence of a lecturer or due to force majeure. In these cases no costs are incurred by the participants. Amounts paid in advance will be refunded in full. No further claims can be made against HOHNER Musikinstrumente.
HOHNER reserves the right to make adjustments to the content and procedure of the individual training events as well as to the participation of speakers and guest lecturers.
The participation fees for the various courses, training, further education and continuing education measures, as well as workshops and festivals, are as stated in the respective call for applications.
Method of payment
After confirmation of participation and an invoice from HOHNER Musikinstrumente, payment of the participation fee is usually made by advance bank transfer or Paypal.
You will receive a written confirmation (e-mail or letter) of receipt of the participation fees. With this confirmation the interested party is bindingly registered.
Cooperation events with other institutions may deviate from this regulation. In this case, the conditions of the institution which is responsible for the financial handling of the event apply.
Please make sure that you pay any bank charges that may be incurred. Any bank transfer fees that may nevertheless be incurred will be collected in cash by the organizer on site.
HOHNER does not provide accommodation, booking of accommodation via HOHNER is not possible. However, HOHNER can give recommendations and assistance in the search.
The participant may terminate the contract after admission has been granted.
A cancellation fee, based on the participation fee, will be charged according to the following rates:
- up to 30 days before the start of the event 20 % of the participation fee
- up to 8 days before the start of the event 80 % of the participation fee
- afterwards 100 % of the participation fee
The notice of termination must be in writing. The date of receipt of the mail shall be deemed the date of termination.
HOHNER collects personal data with the registration and processes them for the fulfilment of its tasks. The participant agrees to the automatic storage of his/her data. In order to enable participants to possibly form carpools, addresses and telephone numbers will be passed on to participants within a training course, provided that this procedure is not contradicted.
HOHNER does not accept any liability for personal injury, property damage or financial loss, unless there is gross negligence on the part of HOHNER.
Any damage and contamination caused by participants to the building, the premises, the equipment and the musical instruments will be charged to the participants.
Reservation of use
The participants transfer to HOHNER the right of use of work results which are developed in the respective courses, training courses, workshops etc.
Sound and image recordings are generally not allowed at all events of the Hohner Conservatory.
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms of the events due to legal regulations.
It is not allowed to bring pets with you.
The house rules of the respective venues are binding for the participants.
The specific regulations for the individual events as stated in the advertisements are part of the GTC.
Place of jurisdiction
The legal venue is Stuttgart.
