Dear harmonica lover,

The Harmonica Masters Workshops in Trossingen, Germany, founded by Steve Baker in 2003 and organised by the Hohner Conservatory, have long been regarded as the no. 1 educational event for blues harmonica in Europe. We are now accepting registrations for the 13th edition from October 30th - November 3rd 2019.

Workshops from and with:
Joe Filisko, harmonica customizing pioneer and expert on traditional blues styles, has been with us from the very beginning and will be returning in 2019.
Following the success of his first class with us in 2018, we are very happy to welcome back French harmonica star Greg Zlap.
After taking a break in 2018 in order to concentrate on his duties as musical director, Steve Baker will again be teaching a full class in 2019.
Our German language class with Marko Jovanovic, director of the Harmonica School Berlin, has been a great success and Marko will be back again this year.
Reflecting the role which the platform has come to play in online musical education, we’re happy to welcome Youtube star Indiara Sfair for her first European workshop.
Alligator Records recording artist and harp blower extraordinaire Dennis Gruenling will be joining us for the first time in 2019 to teach a class on Blues Chromatic.
Former World Harmonica Champion Riedel Diegel will once again be offering a class for beginning and intermediate players.
As in previous years, Joe Filisko’s duo partner Eric Noden will present a workshop for acoustic blues guitar.
David Barrett will be taking a year off in 2019, but has promised to return in 2020.
All classes, concerts and sessions take place on the new campus in the historical heart of Trossingen, the fully renovated site of the former Hohner production facilities.
It isn’t just our world class team of instructors, or the concerts and sessions, which make the Harmonica Masters Workshops such an unforgettable event. It's the combination with that remarkable cameraderie which makes the international harmonica community so special, and four days of total immersion in one of the pivotal locations in the history of our instrument, which ensure a unique experience that continues to attract new students every year and brings back many people again and again for their annual pilgrimage to the Mecca of the harmonica.
Our website has now been updated and we are accepting registrations with immediate effect, either online or at the Hohner Conservatory:
