General Terms and Conditions

The General Terms and Conditions of Business (GTC) apply to all training, further training and education courses, as well as workshops and festivals of HOHNER-Konservatorium GmbH Trossingen, hereinafter referred to as Konservatorium. The General Terms and Conditions are accepted upon registration for an offer by Konservatorium.

Registration and admission
Upon receipt of the registration, interested parties will receive a written notification of the current status of their registration (payment pending / receipt of payment confirmed / on waiting list / etc.).

Change or cancellation before the start of a course
Konservatorium reserves the right to cancel a course at short notice or to postpone its start if there is insufficient demand. The same applies to course cancellations due to the absence of a lecturer or due to force majeure (e.g. due to a pandemic). In these cases no costs are incurred for the participants. Amounts paid in advance will be refunded in full. No further claims can be made against Konservatorium. Konservatorium reserves the right to make adjustments to the content and procedure of the individual training events as well as to the participation of speakers and guest lecturers.

Participation fees
The participation fees for the various courses, training, further education and continuing education measures, as well as workshops and festivals, are as stated in the respective call for applications.

Method of payment
Payment is made either directly with the order by Paypal, or after request by Konservatorium by bank transfer. Participants will receive a confirmation of receipt of the participation fees in written form (e-mail). With this confirmation the interested party is bindingly registered. Participants must pay for any bank charges themselves.

Accommodation
Konservatorium does not provide accommodation, booking of accommodation via Konservatorium is not possible. However, Konservatorium can give recommendations and assistance in the search.

Termination
The participant may terminate the contract after admission has been granted.
A cancellation fee, based on the participation fee, will be charged according to the following rates:
• up to 30 days before the start of the event 20% of the participation fee
• up to 8 days before the start of the event 80% of the participation fee
• afterwards 100% of the participation fee
The notice of termination must be in writing. The date of receipt of the mail shall be deemed the date of termination.

Data protection
Konservatorium collects personal data with the registration and processes them for the fulfilment of its tasks. The participant agrees to the automatic storage of his/her data.

Liability
Konservatorium does not accept any liability for personal injury, property damage or financial loss, unless there is gross negligence on the part of Konservatorium. Any damage and contamination caused by participants to the building, the premises, the equipment and the musical instruments will be charged to the participants.

Reservation of use
The participants transfer to Konservatorium the right of use of work results which are developed in the respective courses, training courses, workshops etc.

Miscellaneous
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms of the events due to legal regulations. It is not allowed to bring pets with you. The house rules of the respective venues are binding for the participants.

The specific regulations for the individual events as stated in the advertisements are part of the GTC.

Place of jurisdiction
The legal venue is Stuttgart.
